Our Recipes – IMUA’s Homemade Granola

IMUA’s Granola

 

  • 2 cups oats
  • 1/2 cup seeds of your choice (pumpkin, sesame, sunflower, chia, flaxseed, etc)
  • 1.5 cup nuts of your choice (walnuts, almonds, pecans, mac nuts, hazelnuts, etc)
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • pinch of cinnamon and salt
  • teaspoon of vanilla
  • dried coconut or other dried fruit

Mix all dry ingredients together in a bowl.  Heat olive oil, honey, cinnamon, salt, and vanilla on stove on medium heat.  Bring to pre-boil.  Once heated, mix liquid ingredients with dry mixture.  Pour into baking sheet and bake at 350 F for 15 minutes or until nice light golden color.
** If you prefer your granola more crunchy, you can bake it longer to your preference.
